FINDLAY--- JOBsolutions, in conjunction with Garner Transportation Group, Owens Community College, and Trainco have developed a workforce development program to collaboratively train and hire truck drivers in Northwest Ohio.

The Findlay-Hancock County Alliance wants to help make more Steve Jolliff and Eric McKee success stories. Jolliff started Jolliff Cleaning Solutions three years ago after he was laid off in the recession. McKee and his wife, Kathy, opened Muddy River Bicycle Co. in mid-2011.
Today, Jolliff employs two besides himself cleaning carpet, upholstery, tile and grout. Muddy River Bicycle employs eight, selling bikes and accessories and doing repairs.
The Findlay-Hancock County Alliance wants to help make more Steve Jolliff and Eric McKee success stories.

Access•Point gives local jobseekers new tool
FINDLAY--- JOBsolutions, in conjunction with 10 local employers, has developed Access•Point, a “first of its kind” initial job screening process that can be accessed from a home computer or at kiosks located throughout Hancock County. The participating companies are: Rowmark, Whirlpool, Cascade, Findlay’s Tall Timber Distribution Center, Ohio Logistics, Findlay Machine & Tool (FMT), GSW Manufacturing, GROB Systems, Cooper Tire and MITEC Powertrain.

New Youth Resource Room Available in Hancock County
FINDLAY---JOBsolutions of Hancock County has a new service available for younger job applicants. A Youth Resource Room was recently opened at the local JOBsolutions office to help job seekers in their teens and to the age of 21.
